Mechanical engineering according to Dekimo

At Dekimo, we believe that mechanics and electronics are more and more inseparable from each other. At Dekimo we see mechanical engineering very broadly. Assignments can vary from designing a completely new product, starting from an idea or proof of concept, to redesigning an existing product. After industrialization, prototypes can be produced and production series can also be offered. It goes without saying that we can approach this both on a project basis or in the form of extra engineering capacity to support your team.

Our story

The fact that many customers are looking for a total solution was the trigger to create a mechanical department. It started 6 years ago with the integration of engineers with mechanical experience in our own teams. Dekimo has invested heavily in knowledge and tools during this period. We believe that we can only add value to our customers if we can offer them the right knowledge and experience. The integration of (electro)mechanics and electronics requires a specific approach. Notions such as choice of materials, thermal analysis, design for manufacturing of plastic parts, and surface treatments are therefore not unknown to us. The combination of all these different disciplines under one roof makes Dekimo a unique player on the market. Dekimo can be seen as a company that makes technology and knowledge available to its customers with the aim of helping them to move their product through the various design phases as smoothly as possible. This brings us seamlessly to one of our most important objectives, unburdening our customers in terms of product development and industrialization.
