As a Production Technician at Dekimo Louvain-la-Neuve, you will play a key role in ensuring the functionality and quality of our advanced electronic products.
Job Description
Your responsibilities include:
- Executing test procedures on complex electronic products according to established test plans and specifications.
- Troubleshooting, isolating, and documenting hardware and firmware issues discovered during testing.
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams to validate product functionality and performance.
- Ensuring test results are accurately recorded and communicated in a timely manner.
- Participating in the design, development, and optimization of in-house test benches and automated test setups.
- Providing feedback on current testing workflows and suggesting improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Assisting in developing standardized procedures and documentation for test bench usage and maintenance.
Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of electronic components, circuits, and embedded systems.
- Experience with measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW) is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of quality control processes and documentation practices.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- High attention to detail and precision in test execution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to company standards.
