Electronics Engineer – Louvain-la-Neuve

As an Electronics Engineer at Dekimo Louvain-la-Neuve, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining embedded systems and digital logic projects.

Job Description

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing embedded electronic systems from requirements to prototype and production.
  • Implementing, optimizing, and maintaining FPGA and CPLD architectures (VHDL/Verilog).
  • Managing product lifecycles, including digital logic obsolescence and redesigns.
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, and test engineers for seamless integration.
  • Contributing to design reviews, proposing improvements, and ensuring designs meet industry best practices.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in FPGA and CPLD development (VHDL/Verilog, synthesis, simulation, timing analysis).
  • Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, communication interfaces, and debugging tools.
  • Experience managing product obsolescence and redesigns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and team spirit.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or French.
  • Bonus points
    • Experience with embedded software development.
    • Experience in a small, agile team.
